NFTA See Say 4.1.1

The NFTA See Say App provides a convenient avenue for the public to report suspicious activities directly to the NFTA Transit Police in a prompt and confidential manner. It allows users to submit text messages, images, and locations of concerning individuals or incidents. The app features two user-friendly options on its home screen for contacting the NFTA Transit Police:

1. The "Report a Problem" button enables users to transmit text or photos directly to the NFTA Transit Police. The app ensures discretion by automatically deactivating the camera flash when capturing images. Users can specify locations and choose from various report categories to assist law enforcement. Additionally, riders have the option to submit reports anonymously.
2. The "Call NFTA Police" button provides a direct connection to the NFTA Transit Police for immediate assistance.

The application is tailored for use within the NFTA system, enabling reports to be stored and dispatched once cellular connectivity is reestablished in areas with signal issues. Moreover, to expedite response times, the system prioritizes text submissions over image files, ensuring that the NFTA Transit Police receive real-time reports swiftly.

Additional Features:

• BOLO (Be On the Look Out) Alerts: The See Say App may showcase BOLO Alerts issued by the NFTA Transit Police concerning specific individuals of interest. For instance, users may receive information regarding missing persons or children, including their last known whereabouts. Upon encountering an individual mentioned in a BOLO Alert, users are encouraged to promptly contact 911 and discreetly send an app report to the NFTA Transit Police.
